The church’s annual meeting will be held on Sunday 4th October 2020 in the parish church immediately after the main (10 am) Sunday service which means it will start soon after 11 am. It is usually held in May but because of the coronavirus lockdown it has been postponed.

This meeting is an important part of the life of the church: we elect our lay leaders, there is a chance to raise issues face to face with the Vicar and the PCC and there is the opportunity to discuss matters of concern. Technically there are two meetings, the Vestry Meeting when the churchwardens are elected and the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM for short) when the rest of the business is conducted.

There will be elections for three lay representatives on the PCC (Parochial Church Council) and for two churchwardens. We have nominations for all of these except one representative on the PCC. Volunteers and nominations for these and any other offices will be welcome. There will be nomination forms in the church but if you are interested I will be pleased to speak to you or supply nomination forms.

Anyone on the register of local government electors for the parish or on the church electoral roll can attend and vote at the Vestry Meeting. Only those on the church electoral roll are entitled to attend and vote at the APCM. If your name is not already on the church electoral roll and you would like it added, please contact me as soon as possible and I can supply an application form.

If you would like a copy of the agenda, accounts and other papers you can download them by clicking the link at the top of this page. They are also available in the church. Also, I can supply copies.
